Set Designer

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Set Designer to join a highly innovative team, a full service agency offering audience engagement, creative and production strategies.

The role

  • Generate creative stage set concepts and designs that support client communications for new and existing projects, including product launches, annual meetings, sales meetings, customer conferences, exhibition environments and more
  • Drive stage and environment design, ensuring an appropriate tone of delivery that captures and engages an audience’s imagination while amplifying communication objectives
  • Creative interpretation of client advertising campaigns or meeting themes into immersive environments
  • Collaborate with graphic designers, exhibition designers and content owners to create experiential activities and environments through the use of light, sound and technology to drive audience engagement
  • Ensure client needs and objectives are met by designing appropriate solutions, on time and to budget
  • Collaborate with directors and technical producers to generate high quality 3D CAD visuals that accurately illustrate impact and drama in the live event environment
  • Develop effectively structured visual pitch presentations and client proposals to communicate designs
  • Collaborate with technical producers and external suppliers to develop CAD layouts and production designs
  • Support other 3D designers with the design of creative exhibition stands
  • Effective prioritisation and time management, ensuring stakeholder expectations and deadlines are consistently met

3D Exhibition Designer (Exhibitions/Events)

My client, a Creative Exhibition Design Company, requires a 3D Exhibition Designer to help bring their bespoke stand designs and kit systems to life for a range of well-established and new clients.

You are a hardworking, self-motivated team player, capable of working as an individual to apply your exceptional detailing ability and provide high quality production drawings that will drive a variety of projects forward. You need to be creative and methodical as well as practical and pro-active.

You will be looking for a long term position with an established and successful company with ambitions to expand their client base and project scope.

You will ideally have previous experience using:
• 3D Max or Cinema 4D
• VectorWorks

Experience of FormZ would be advantageous however full training will be given to the successful candidate if required.

Junior 3D Designer

Andy File Associates Limited are working on behalf of their client as a Recruitment Agency with regards this permanent vacancy.

An opportunity has arisen to join a multinational creative agency with a number of offices across the world as Junior 3D Designer in branding environments, especially within events and exhibitions.

The role will support senior team members, turning initial briefs into completed customer engaging experiences, ensuring clients’ visions are maintained and projected in the creative outcome.

Working on a range of projects for different clients with the ownership of smaller projects and partnerships of larger ones with senior team members. The ideal candidate will be both a team player as well as being able to work independently.

You will;
• Develop high levels of creativity in concepts and designs across the spectrum of projects;
• Address the views of others at the design stage without compromising the creative idea;
• Understand the clients’ needs and brand values when working on briefs;
• Ensure all work meets the company’s standards resulting in winning and maintaining customers, with accurate records of work undergone to support quality control;
• Understand the designs standards of competitors to ensure ours is sustained and exceeds that of competitors;
• Attend events and exhibitions to feedback the current industry trends and creative ideas to ensure we remain competitive in our 3D designs;
• Work to budgets and review project time and costs to become more effective in our work;
• Liaise and meet with clients and internal meetings to present designs, from pitching through to delivery;
• Plan own workloads, as well as working with the Studio Manager in distributing work appropriately;
• Continue to develop latest techniques and tools to produce creative work;
• Be proficient in studio software such as Vectorworks and Cinema 4D;
• Guide and mentor junior members of the creative team, providing inspiration and guidance to result in high quality, competitive outputs.
