Junior Account Manager

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm (occasionally overtime may be required to fulfil client requirements).

Reports to: Director of Sales and Marketing

Overview:

The Junior Account Manager will sit within the Sales team. The primary focus of this role is to support the Account Managers in always delivering exceptional customer service within the existing managed support customer base as well as working with new and potential clients. The Junior Account Manager will work with the Account Managers to support the delivery of the clients’ strategy as they work through the Proven Partnership Process. You will be responsible for contributing to building profitable, long-term relationships with our clients to reach our business objectives. The role will require excellent organisation, communication and relationship building skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Sales team in looking after a number of existing clients, participating in meetings, producing contractual paperwork and completing a number of admin tasks
  • Work with new and existing clients; identifying opportunities and demonstrating the customer journey using our clients’ Proven Partnership Process
  • Work with the Customer Service Team and the Service Desk to ensure that incidents are dealt with efficiently and customer expectations are managed correctly
  • Constantly review and suggest improvements in our customer service approach to ensure excellence in customer management and communication
  • Liaise with 3rd party vendors, produce quotes, place orders and advise clients on what end user kit to purchase based on requirements
  • Provide after-sales support to retain customer
  • Ensure prompt and accurate answers to clients’ queries
  • Build strong client relationships, through regular communication
  • Support the Account Management team to achieve team targets and customer satisfaction

  • Excellent communication skills essential
  • Ability to manage a diverse workload and work calmly under pressure with an organised and methodical approach to tasks
  • Thorough and have a strong attention to detail
