Andy File Associates Limited is working as a Recruitment Agency on behalf of our client with regards this permanent position.

JOB ROLE

Purpose of the role is to perform Oversight, Review and oversee the operational aspects of the credit administration and to help all retail branches with their day-to-day queries along with review of reconciliation of accounts held with branches such as Nostro/Sundry/Suspense, overseeing the functions of Credit Admin Dept. and reconciliation of accounts held with third party such as LMS.

 JOB RESPONSIBILITY

  • Overseeing the functions of Credit Admin Dept.
  • Overseeing Reconciliation of loan accounts
  • Review of loan accounts covering compliance of (i) sanction terms at the time of disbursement and on an ongoing basis, (ii) interest, fees and charges recovery in loan accounts, (iii) security creation and perfection as per the sanction terms, (iv) review/renewals of the loan accounts, (v) periodicity of valuations, insurance etc.
  • Review of various reporting done by Credit Admin Dept. on a sample basis
  • Review of the data accuracy for credit data maintained by Credit Admin Dept.
  • Review of Credit Operations in terms of compliance with credit policy
  • Review of branch Sundry and Suspense accounts
  • Review of branch complaints processes
  • Review of branch charges return
  • Review of Departments/Branches
  • Handling requests related to Deceased case
  • Handling request from investigating agencies
  • Handling Data request from legal authorities
  • Control of unclaimed accounts
  • Improvement of process manual/SOP and policies
  • Submission of MI to hierarchy and branches
  • Any other duties as delegated by Head of Branch Operations

 COMPETENCY/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

  • Excellent knowledge of Finacle system
  • Excellent knowledge of Reconciliation
  • Excellent knowledge of Branch Operations such as compliance, KYC and Account opening
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of credit operations
  • Excellent knowledge of UK banking industry
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of UK regulators
  • Ability to analyse work processes and suggest improving in work flow so as to free up human resources at branch to focus on excellent customer service through intensive engagement with customers
  • The ability to comprehend complexities of branch situation and organise tasks to facilitate improved customer experience
  • Thorough knowledge of risk review mechanism
  • To be able to lead a team effective and work closely with Branch Management Team
  • Excellent on producing accurate MI to Hierarchy and branch
  • Excellent skills of Microsoft PPT/Excel and Word (Preferably advance level)
  • Must be able to boost staff morale – developing mutual understanding and trust within the team and engendering a positive workplace environment
