Andy File Associates Limited is working on behalf of their client as a Recruitment Agency with regards this permanent vacancy.

As a rapidly expanding company our client is currently looking for a Buyer with experience preferably in the DIY and Hardware industry to join their team

The successful candidate will be required to do the following:

  • Complete actions delegated from the Purchasing Manager
  • Raise, get approved and send purchase orders to suppliers, whilst adhering to all relevant procedures
  • Maintain and update accurate due dates for delivery of product
  • Issue, manage and monitor booking in slots
  • Resolve all warehouse delivery dispute notices
  • Work with sales/customer services to ensure customer required dates are achieved
  • Complete weekly stock reports for suppliers using relevant formats and procedures
  • Continually look for new suppliers to ensure a constant supply of stock
  • Manage the commercial relationship with suppliers to always ensure the best commercial terms
  • Where required place orders and maintain stock levels for selected vendors in line with company stock and aged targets
  • Assist with and oversee monthly stock counts
