Andy File Associates Limited are working as a Recruitment Business on behalf of our client with regards this permanent position

Our client are market leaders in the supply of valves, fittings and flow control equipment to the Water, Waste Water, Oil and Gas industries throughout the world.

Main purpose of the job

Assemble and Test Products to our clients standards

Responsibilities / Duties

• Assembly and Test of gas valve products to BOM standards
• Recording of test data information into hard copy and electronic system
• Stud up, glue, label once assembly and test process complete
• Ensure quality and SOP procedures are followed
• Ensure data capture sheets are completed hour by hour
• Report and record any scrap / reject parts recording information on paperwork provided
• Participate in continuous improvement activities – Lean development, Process improvements, 5S and Kaizen
• Housekeeping to be maintained to our clients standards
• Recording of Start-up check operations reporting any issues to Maintenance department
• Attention to detail working within a department assembling and testing GAS valve products
• Ensure you show regard for your fellow colleagues
• Ensure Health and Safety regulations are adhered to at all times using SQDIPM reporting standards
• Ensure all Company procedures are always followed

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.

Hours of work:

2 pattern shift work

6.00am-2.30pm (Mon to Thurs) and 6.00am-11.00am (Fri)

2.00pm-10.30pm (Mon to Thurs) and 11.00am-4.00pm (Fri)
