A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Events Executive. You will be working with key clients across a variety of events including conferences, business events & award evenings.

  • Responsible for the full planning and delivery of corporate events programme
  • Achieve the annual events revenues and managing events costs in line with the budget
  • Tendering for suppliers & venues for large scale business events
  • Assisting & updating line manager regularly on events outputs and budget
  • Regular contact with the marketing team and membership team regarding events promotion
  • Liaising with external companies & creating marketing materials required for events
  • Regularly review our existing events programme to drive continuous improvement with a focus on quality
  • Self-generate a pipeline of potential sales opportunities and secure new business
  • Support the increase in sales revenue from all activities including sponsorship and advertising for regular events programme & large annual events
  • Engage and build a strong network of contacts from appropriate partners and stakeholders and attend relevant networking events
  • Assist with debt chasing and support the department Administrator in all duties to ensure finance data is recorded and updated
  • Support other teams with events

Estimator (Exhibitions/Events)

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced estimator to join a well established Exhibition company.

The role
• The preparation of Estimates and Tenders
• Liaise with clients and suppliers to ensure projects are efficiently costed and managed through the pricing and tendering process
• Sourcing and negotiating terms with subcontractors
• Working closely with design and production
• General administration to support the team as necessary

Skills and Experience
• Previous experience in an estimating / quantity surveying role.
• Must have an excellent understanding of all technical drawings and knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Must have an excellent knowledge of design, materials, production processes
• The successful candidate will either have experience with an international exhibition company or come from a bespoke joinery / construction or shopfitting background.

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Support Executive to join our global event management company! You will be responsible for assisting the Sales Teams (Directors, Business Directors) with the development and production of proposals/presentations/tenders for both existing clients and prospective new business.

The role
– Research to prepare proposals, co-ordinating costings, inputting responses on e-procurement software, formatting documents, proof reading and liaising with key internal stakeholders, suppliers and occasionally clients.
– Be actively involved in ensuring a consistently high standard of proposal is maintained throughout the business presenting the company in a professional manner.
– Attend supplier meetings, trade shows and internal training where relevant to ensure product knowledge is maintained
– Have good working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word and Gold-Vision Database
– Hold and attend briefing meetings, where appropriate participate in creative meetings to brainstorm solutions and concepts.
– Hold brainstorming sessions involving a variety of team members.
