Customer Service Advisor x 4 needed

Starting from: Monday 14th November 2022

Till : Friday 16th December 2022

Purpose of the Role

The main purpose of this role is to process all customer orders accurately and in a timely fashion and ensure customer’s orders are all acknowledged correctly.

Main Responsibilities

• Dealing with customer queries by phone and email
• Maintaining accurate records of customer communications and relevant correspondence
• Building and strengthening relationships with customers and calling pro-actively whether with good or   bad news
• Endeavoring to ensure that the relationship with our customers is second to none
• Progressing customer orders to ensure they are delivered on time
• Liaising with other  departments to ensure a high level of customer service

Hours: 39 hours per week – 8.30am – 5.00 pm Monday to Thursday and 4.00 pm finish on Friday

Reporting to: Customer Service Supervisor and your job title will be Customer Service Advisor
While temping via Andy File Associates your hourly rate will be : £10.48 ph

Location : Darton, Barnsley, S75

Length of contract: 5 weeks possibly more

Sewing Machinist

Andy File Associates Limited is working as a Recruitment business on behalf of our client with regards this temporary  position.

Overview

  • Working in a small team, of 6 full – time machinist 1 full -time cutter, and 1  supervisor
  • Working  with  clothing
  •  Re purposing men’s shirts into ladies tops and men’s jeans into ladies shorts, amongst other things, which means we have issues of fitting pieces together and making a nice looking, wearable garment
  •  Working with retailers and also independent customers, also having their own shop

Brief duties and responsibilities:- 

  • Working with a team of machinist and cutters to produce good quality sale able products
  • Responsible for keeping  areas and machines clean at all times and general housekeeping
  • Checking quality of  work continuously
  • Working to a work plan set out by supervisor to meet critical path requirement
  • Ability to lockstitch, overlock, coverseam
  • Attach buttonhole and use of a circular hand cutter would be a bonus
  • There can be some lifting  involved

Reporting to:–  Factory Supervisor

We would also be interested in applicants who may not have experience with commercial sewing but have an interest in sewing.

37 hrs per week – Full time temporary to permanent

8-5pm Monday to Thursday, 8-1.30pm Fridays

Location: Barnsley
