Reporting to Sales Director

 Main Duties

  • Taking customer sales orders via telephone, email or fax and inputting accurately onto Access Accounts software
  • Pricing customer sales orders where appropriate
  • Providing Quotations to customers and following them up
  • Telephoning current customers to generate sales and develop the range of products supplied
  • Telephoning new customers to generate business (Leads to be a combination of self-generated/provided by Sales Director)
  • Generating sales figures/reports via Access Accounts/Microsoft Excel
  • Presenting sales progress reports to Directors

  • Proven track record in telesales with year on year increases in turnover and profitability
  • Good telephone manner
  • Competence in calculating profit margins
  • Self-motivated with an outgoing personality
  • Effective communicator within the sales team
  • Well organised with the ability to prioritise tasks accordingly

Salary dependent on experience

Hours: 36.5 hours per week. Mon-Thurs 8.45 am – 5.00 pm, Friday 8.45 am – 4.00 pm (45 minute lunch)

Holidays 23 days + 8 statutory

Onsite IT Service Engineer

Overview:

This position will provide onsite technical support to our client’s customer and also assist our service desk remotely. A good technical knowledge is essential to ensure incidents and problems are dealt with quickly and efficiently.  A desire to provide exceptional customer service at all times is a must along with an understanding of the commercial goals of the business as a whole.

Responsibilities:

• Provide IT Service Desk support for incidents related to hardware, software, network connectivity and application services to a wide variety of external customers.
• Manage and own incident tickets via our Autotask ticket management system, providing customer updates to agreed timeframes.
• Triage and resolve incidents to stringent customer defined SLA’s.
• Drive service improvement within the service desk to improve first time fix resolution times.
• Communicate clearly, effectively and in a timely manner with all customers.
• Create and maintain accurate documentation within the centralised management database.
• Provide any on-site support to resolve customer service outages as required to meet SLA’s.
• Support initial client contact via, Autotask ticketing system, email or telephone contact.
• Continue to develop technical knowledge and skillset through formal training, informal training and hands on practical experience.

Skills

• Good knowledge of Windows Server, Virtual environments (VMWare), MS Windows, Networking LAN, WAN, VPN and Wireless, Active Directory, Antivirus.
• Cloud hosted O365 skills required including OneDrive & SharePoint
• MS Exchange and Outlook management skills desired.
• Knowledge of Data Backups and schedules including VEAAM and Cloud hosted services.
• Demonstrated PC hardware/software trouble-shooting skills.
• Excellent Team Player, but also the ability to work on their own.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; professional telephone demeanour.
• Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
• ITIL knowledge preferred or certification would be desirable.
• Patience, ability to work under pressure and good organisational skills

Job Purpose:

To build and maintain an excellent working relationship with our client’s customers. To raise quotations in a written format and deal with customer technical enquiries by both email and telephone.

Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Safety – to support and drive the Health & Safety culture including ensuring any and all activities of the role are performed in a Safe way.
  • To raise customer quotations on the company’s systems
  • To learn and be able to relay information about the technical construction and manufacture of our products.
  • To ensure that customer’s enquiries for pricing etc. are dealt with efficiently and effectively
  • To liaise with the external sales team to manage sales leads and opportunities
  • Liaise with other sales office team members to ensure orders are processed to correct price quoted
  • Communicate professionally and co-operatively with colleagues at all times, especially in the pursuit of excellence for the customer.
  • Raise formal quotations and ensure that these reach the customer in a realistic time frame

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

Education

GCSE English and Math’ or equivalent

Experience

Construction/manufacturing based experience

Commercial/sales experience

Working within an environment in which technical knowledge was required

Customer Service Advisor

Andy File Associates Limited is working on behalf of their client as a Recruitment Agency with regards to this Contract.

Customer Service Advisor – Fixed Term Contract – 3-6 months

Hours: 8.30 – 5.00 Monday to Thursday and 4.00 finish on Friday 39 hours per week

Purpose of the role

The main purpose of this role is to build and maintain an excellent working relationship with customers.  Our client is looking for someone who will continually strive to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and therefore maximise the potential of increased sales.
