We are currently recruiting  for Sign Fitters for our client in Doncaster, experience is not essential as long as you have the confidence to learn and apply your skill set to the job and commit to an intense on the job training programme.

You must have drive, energy, enthusiasm, an eye for detail and the ability to think on your feet when needed.

Job Role and Requirements:

Working in a small team your duties and responsibilities will be:

• To undertake all aspects of signage and POS manufacture from design, fabrication and assembly from a variety of materials and components – ie. acrylic, wood, metal, composites, fluorescent tubes, LEDs, neon etc.)
• Be competent in using both hand held manual tools and power tools ie. plotters, laser cutters, digital printers, grinding wheel, chop saw, wall saw, polishing wheel, grinding wheel, flame polisher, heat guns, pedestal drill, wood planer, table router, cnc router, eyeletter, guillotine and extracted aerosol spray booth
• Installation on and off site using hand held power tools and appropriate fixings, including the use of powered access and scaffold
• Ensuring a high standard of quality is maintained throughout manufacture and installation
• Maintaining health & safety standards and reporting procedures both on and off site
• When and if required assisting in other areas of the department to ensure production continues and timescales are met

• To continually develop and increase your own skill set to support development and change within the Business
• Train and support other team members to develop their skill set
• With as much notice as possible be available to work overtime when necessary to ensure deadlines/timescales are met for production
• Be proactive and responsive to developing new products and ideas
• The successful candidate must be flexible as weekend or night work may be required occasionally

Training 

• To gain IPAF & CSCS card

Requirements :

• Must have a full clean driving licence
• Must be confident working at heights
• Must be available to work some weekends if required

Hours 

• Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm
• Must be available to work some weekends and night work if required
• Overtime is paid at time and a half
• An allowance is paid for night work
