Junior Quality Administrator/ Engineer

Andy File Associates Limited are working on behalf of their client as a Recruitment Agency with regards this temporary – permanent vacancy.

Summary:

Our client is based in Sheffield, with a state-of-the-art distribution and manufacturing facility producing quality products and services in the UK hydraulic industry.

This position is initially a Trainee Role offering on the job training to be given in the production processes, administration and projects to broaden your knowledge.

There will also be the opportunity to go on training courses to gain further qualifications in Quality Assurance.

Initially a Trainee position but developing over time to a Quality Engineer.

Responsibilities

* Administration of routine paperwork including investigation, returns, credits and logging details to the database
* Investigate and document Non Conformance Reports using the database
* Checking and inspection of parts drawings
* Communicate with customers, sales team and suppliers daily
* Undertake training within production areas
* Ensure any quarantine stock is processed within SAP
* Assist with improvement projects dependent on workloads

Skills and experience required

* GCSE or equivalent in English Language, Physics and Mathematics
* Excellent organisational skills
* Attention to detail
* Ability to use word and excel including creating spreadsheet
* Methodical approach to problem solving
* Confident manner using the telephone and Face to Face
