Customer Services/Sales Assistant

Andy File Associates Limited are working as a Recruitment Agency on behalf of our client with regards this permanent position

Reporting to Sales Director

 Main Duties

  • Taking customer sales orders via telephone, email or fax and inputting accurately onto Access Accounts software
  • Pricing customer sales orders where appropriate
  • Providing Quotations to customers and following them up
  • Telephoning current customers to generate sales and develop the range of products supplied
  • Telephoning new customers to generate business (Leads to be a combination of self-generated/provided by Sales Director)
  • Generating sales figures/reports via Access Accounts/Microsoft Excel
  • Presenting sales progress reports to Directors

 

Key Skills

  • Proven track record in telesales with year on year increases in turnover and profitability
  • Good telephone manner
  • Competence in calculating profit margins
  • Self-motivated with an outgoing personality
  • Effective communicator within the sales team
  • Well organised with the ability to prioritise tasks accordingly
  • Driving licence preferred

 

Salary dependent on experience

Hours: 36.5 hours per week. Mon-Thurs 8.45 am – 5.00 pm, Friday 8.45 am – 4.00 pm (45 minute lunch)

Holidays 23 days + 8 statutory

3% pension contribution
