We are looking for Machine & Production Operatives

The post is a full time and permanent position based just outside Royston, Nr Barnsley

The new post is the result of new contracts gained

Full training will be given to the successful candidates

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Minimum wage/ piecework

Hours: 42.5 Hours per week Mon-Fri (7.30am – 5.00pm)

Responsibilities and Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Manufacturing and repairing Pallets
• Stripping Pallets
• Maintain machinery (oil etc)
• Cutting boards/ blocks
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures of working with machinery
• You will process waste into the correct bins
• You will sort pallets into damaged and good stock, using the correct sizing
• You will report to the Team Leader/ Assistant Operations Manager
• Undertake training required for your role as and when required
• You will carry out such reasonable ad hoc duties as and when required
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures

Qualifications and Skills

Preferred experience:

• Knowledge of pallets is preferable
• Attention to detail
• Experience of using machinery is preferable
• Working in a safe environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £8.91 – £9.75 per hour depending on experience

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
