The ideal candidate would be skilled in the following:

Negotiation
Excel
Supplier communication
Measuring garments
Quality inspections
Fabric knowledge
Commercial awareness

It is also essential the candidate already have experience in:

Apparel Product Development or Design
Overseas sourcing
Knowledge of the design and production process
Ability to create technical specification packs for supplier
Far east trips and factory visits
Managing a team
AQL standards
Fabric testing standards

As a product developer, you will filter into the Apparel Development Manager and the Head of Apparel. You will undertake at least two 2-week trips to the Far East in one year and other trade shows throughout the year.
