Overview
Our client is the market leader in their industry. Consisting of six business brands and nine manufacturing brands.
Falling within each business brand is a number of key category areas, each of which includes branded and own label products. Our client is therefore looking to expand the Marketing Team to include a Marketing Executive to take responsibility for Internal Communications and Special Projects.
Working closely with the Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing this role will keep all employees especially field sales teams, connected and informed. The role and responsibilities will involve the following:
Develop and implement an internal communications strategy
Manage and develop internal communications channels and media
Develop and manage a network of field communication champions
Be the point of contact and advice on internal communications
Coordinate internal communication initiatives
Introduce and implement new procedures and methods to inform and engage employees
Develop brand awareness and loyalty amongst employees
Support the wider marketing team in internal and external events
Promotion of the wider internal brand
Manage an internal communications budget associated with particular focus on maximizing value for money and spending efficiencies
Establish methods of reporting on success of internal communications and provide a platform for feedback and celebration of successes.
Essential skills, attributes, qualifications and experience
Educated to degree level or relevant marketing qualification
Substantial internal communications experience in complex organisations with geographically dispersed staff within similar fast paced environment
Proven ability to measure and evaluate the success of initiatives and campaigns
Commercially driven
Confident and skilled in communicating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels from board level to trade counter staff
Detailed report writing
Ability to understand, summarise and rewrite information
Excellent verbal and writing skills
Excellent project management skills
Attention to detail
Multi-tasker
