CNC Vertical Borer

Andy File Associates Limited are working on behalf of their client as a Recruitment Agency with regards this Permanent vacancy.

An excellent opportunity had arisen for a couple of CNC Fanuc controlled Vertical Borers to program, set and operate their new machines.

Essential

Experience in heavy forge environment

Safety setting up machines

Using best practice work to customer’s instructions

Inspect components before and after machining and maintain accurate identification against route cards.

Improve and maintain housekeeping standards

Pass on skills by training apprentice

Desirable

Excellent communication and liaison skills

Flexible and proactive approach

Recognised craft apprenticeship

Able to read engineering drawings

Working on own initiative

Experience of using Fanuc controlled Hwacheon machines

Operate manual vertical borers and manual big lathes

Able to use measuring equipment

Manual handling, work handling

Responsible for own personal health and safety

It is also essential that you are a fully skilled machinist and display competence and accuracy in all machining processes

Hours of Work:

This is a full time position for 37 hours per week, on a 3 way shift pattern (days, afters and nights)

Days – 06:00 to 13:45 Mon to Thurs. 06:00 to 12:00 Fri.

Afters – 13:30 to 21:15 Mon to Thurs. 11:45 to 17:45 Fri.

Nights – 21:00 to 06:15 Mon to Thurs.

20% shift premium payable on nights only.

Additional overtime available at weekends.

CNC Turner

Andy File Associates Limited are working on behalf of their client as a recruitment agency on this permanent position.

Job description:

CNC Turner required for our client who is looking for an experienced high performance turning centre operator/setter/programmer for varied high precision manufacture of high quality turned parts in a broad range of materials including Steel, Stainless Steel and Alloys to tight deadlines and tolerances.

Direct experience of operating, setting and programming the following machine would be an advantage, other relevant experience considered.

Doosan Puma 600 High Performance Turning Centre (Fanuc controlled)

Hours of Work: This is a full time position for 37 hours per week, on a 3 way shift pattern (days, afters and nights)

Days – 06:00 to 13:45 Mon to Thurs. 06:00 to 12:00 Fri.

CNC Miller

Andy File Associates Limited is working on behalf of their client as a recruitment business on this temporary position.

Our client based near Rotherham is looking for an experienced CNC Miller to join their existing team of highly skilled operators.

The ideal candidate will be a very experienced setter with the ability to set and operate a CNC vertical machining centre (Fanuc controlled) for varied, moulds and fixings for the construction industry.

It is essential you have direct experience of setting and operating (programming desirable) and you must have varied small complex production experience.

You will be working nights 6pm – 6am for Monday to Thursday once training and induction is completed – 1 to 2 weeks (day shifts)

Experience of CNC turning would also be beneficial.
