A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Creative Lead to join a highly innovative team, a full service agency offering audience engagement, creative and production strategies.

The role
– Drive ideas generation and creative brainstorming on projects
– Lead creative interpretation and creative direction of new and existing event creatives
– Concept generation and development of new event themes and identities
– Creative direction of work, ensuring quality, tone and appropriateness creative delivery
– Undertake the creative design and development of live, print, digital assets to exceptionally high standards
– Creating attendee storyboards including idea generation for live engagement activities and initiatives to support innovative content delivery
– Support and mentoring of the creative team, sharing knowledge and understanding of the industry, contributing to development of staff
– Create visually engaging stories and narratives, translating these into compelling creative presentations and client proposals
– Face to face presentation of proposals to internal stakeholders and clients
– Supporting Head of Creative in delivering creative influence and initiatives across the business
– Promotion of creativity and creative thinking across the business, including creative capabilities and the championing of new and innovative design trends, technologies
– Prioritisation and time management, ensuring deadlines are met and projects are managed

Skills and Experience
– Qualified with a degree, or equivalent, in Graphic Design or a related subject
– Industry and creative lead experience working within a creative or event agency is required
– Highly creative concept development skills with the knowledge and ability to communicate ideas and their application clearly, across live, print and digital channels
– An exceptional ability to translate creative concepts with finesse into outstanding creative design collateral
– In-depth understanding/experience of developing innovative attendee engagement tactics
– Highly adept in the holy-trinity of design software packages, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and In-Design
– A good knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Dreamweaver, Muse and/or similar tools
– Highly versed in creative systems, processes and best practice for the technical development of both print and digital outputs
– An excellent communicator with the ability to develop engaging narratives and compelling visual rationales that drive creative proposals
– Excellent presentation development skills using PowerPoint and Keynote
– Strength and confidence in ability to present proposals face-to-face to business leaders and clients
– A working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
– A deep understanding and interest in creative trends, social media and digital technologies
– An understanding of technical event production and technology in general

Sales Support Executive (Exhibitions/Events)

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Support Executive to join our global event management company! You will be responsible for assisting the Sales Teams (Directors, Business Directors) with the development and production of proposals/presentations/tenders for both existing clients and prospective new business.

The role
– Research to prepare proposals, co-ordinating costings, inputting responses on e-procurement software, formatting documents, proof reading and liaising with key internal stakeholders, suppliers and occasionally clients.
– Be actively involved in ensuring a consistently high standard of proposal is maintained throughout the business presenting the company in a professional manner.
– Attend supplier meetings, trade shows and internal training where relevant to ensure product knowledge is maintained
– Have good working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word and Gold-Vision Database
– Hold and attend briefing meetings, where appropriate participate in creative meetings to brainstorm solutions and concepts.
– Hold brainstorming sessions involving a variety of team members.
– Brief and involve Creative and Production on aspects key to our full service offer.
– Keep abreast of new technology, suppliers and other services to add creativity and value to our proposals and increase divisional margins and actively pursuing cross selling opportunities
– Supporting the Sales Support team function in driving the business forward
– Attendance at team meetings.
– To support colleagues and share information.
– Ad hoc projects as required.

Marketing & PR Executive and Copywriter

Andy File Associates Limited are working on behalf of their client as a Recruitment Agency with regards this permanent vacancy.

Our client is an award-winning, international, creative, marketing and communications agency.

You’ll be creating and executing a communications plan that promotes our client in a consistent, relevant and timely way. The communications plan will include many different functions and channels including but not limited to PR, awards entries and online and social media. The Copywriter works closely with members of the staff at all levels (Board Directors, designers, creative, and producers) to conceive, articulate and create concepts for all media with a particular focus on interactive media and the development of case studies. This includes web sites, social media, online advertising campaigns, e-mail marketing, viral and other online marketing initiatives. A keen interest in and familiarity with trends in online marketing (and advertising in general) along with a deep knowledge of the interactive digital space is required.

To be successful in this role the ideal candidate will have,

• Experience in an equivalent role
• Core project management skills across a wide set of competencies
• Familiarity with a diverse range of digital and media projects – film & video / interactive application / online and mobile technologies
• Preferably a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in English, journalism, communications or a related field
• Experience as a copywriter in an agency environment (including experience with interactive media and direct marketing)
• A keen enthusiasm for and demonstrable understanding of Web trends and technologies
• An excellent understanding of the requirements for publishing news stories and identifying potential PR opportunities
• A strong understanding of marketing (especially direct marketing) and advertising principles
• Exceptional writing skills, including the ability to write in a range of voices and styles for varied projects with diverse audiences
• Expertise in strategic brainstorming, campaign development, creative brief development and creative execution
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and effectively juggle diverse writing demands
• Proven aptitude for quick creative thinking with acute attention to detail within demanding deadlines
• Sound understanding of graphic design and a keen appreciation of the interplay between textual and visual elements
• Proactive with the ability to focus on the timely completion of projects
