Plant and Compliance Manager

Andy File Associates Limited is working as a Recruitment Agency on behalf of our client with regards this permanent position

We are looking for a proactive and responsible individual who takes pride in accurate and meticulous record keeping who will ensure that documentation and compliance is maintained to the highest of standards whilst striving to drive the business forward in other areas at the same time.

This position requires

  • A self motivated, dynamic and energetic individual who continuously strives for improvement
  • Your job will be to enforce all company procedures ensuring each are followed correctly with relation to all plant and compliance related matters
  • You will have a good understanding of FORS, RISQS, Construction Line & Acclaim standards where you will work towards a successful re-accreditation each year
  • You will be responsible for compliance maintenance for 30 + vehicles, the onsite HGV garage, recycle yard, staff members, and the main site where all documentation and information will be kept current and compliant at all times without deviation
  • Maintenance of WAMITAB record keeping and waste return submission will be part of your main role in addition to HR related matters such as recruitment and the employment of drivers

The ideal candidate will

  •     Have a good level of education
  •     Have excellent record keeping skills
  •     Have a good understanding of ISO 9001, 18001 and 14001 standards including running a controlled
  •     document system
  •     Have a good level of commercial understanding
  •     Have a proven track record in a similar role
  •     Bring forward new ideas.
  •     Worked in the construction, transport or waste and recycling sectors. (Beneficial – Not Essential)
  •     Have qualifications in transport and or waste management (Beneficial – Not Essential)

The Role will include but not be limited to

  •     Overseeing our admin & HR
  •     Optimising production and workflow
  •     Spotting and Developing new opportunity’s
  •     Overseeing our company procedures
  •     Answering the phone to our customers to sell the company products & services where required

Full-time, Permanent

Salary – £25,000 -£30,000

BRC Implementation Project Manager

Andy File Associates Ltd are working as a Recruitment Agency on behalf of our client with regards this temporary vacancy

One of the UK’s fastest growing superfood exporters, are currently looking for a Technical/Quality Specialist to assist with a BRC Implementation project in the organisation’s head office. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to work on a diverse and challenging project, for 3 – 6 months.

The Position:

Working alongside the Technical Manager, this person will be the key driver for the BRC Implementation Project in the business.

As the successful Project Manager, you will:

• Work closely with all stakeholders to drive, coordinate and complete a full gap analysis for the organisations business against the BRC regulatory standards
• Develop a BRC project implementation plan.
• Work with internal teams to drive the development and review of a Quality Management system to ensure compliance with BRC regulatory standards
• Communicate the project scope and coordinate the development of a cross functional project team

The Person:

• A qualification in a Technical/Food Science discipline
• Ideally experience in the implementation of a Quality Management System in a FMCG environment
• Strong working knowledge of BRC Regulations.
• The ideal candidate will have 3+ Years’ experience in a Project Management Role
• Experience within the food sector is desirable
