We are looking for a cleaner 

Cleaning Operative

Our clients requires an enthusiastic individual to join their family run business on the outskirts of Barnsley

The role will be working within a small team where they will be responsible for the cleaning of the Office block and communal areas

Full training will be provided to the successful candidate and continuous mentoring thereafter

This role is essential to ensure a clean, safe and comfortable environment is maintained

You will:

  • Clean the Office block
  • Clean the communal areas in our Manufacturing Unit
  • Follow the Company’s Health & safety procedures
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is well maintained and in safe working order
  • Perform miscellaneous cleaning duties as and when required
  • Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning areas when the work needs to be carried out

Desirable skills and experience:

  • Experience in cleaning Office blocks and manufacturing communal areas.
  • Knowledge of housekeeping best practices
  • Experience of delivering high quality service
  • Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential

Job Type: Part time 

Hourly rate : £8.91 – £9.00 ph

Hours: 16 Hours per week (Monday 7am- 11am, Tuesday to Friday 7am- 10am)

Cleaner

Andy File Associates Limited is working as a Recruitment Agency on behalf of our client with regards this permanent  position

Duties and Responsibilities

  • All cleaning of the operation and premises
  • Focusing on the guidelines for Covid
  • Keeping on top of cleaning touch points
  • Keeping sanitisers filled
  • Stock control of cleaning supplies

Experience

  • To have a good understanding of following a strict regime of cleaning to a plan, and monitor accordingly
  • Must have previous experience of cleaning to a high standard
  • Able to work under own initiative

Salary : £9.00 ph

Working hours : Monday to Friday 12 -5pm (25 hours a week)

Location : Doncaster (DN5)
