An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Maintenance Electrician to our client’s already successful business.

 

Hours of work: Rotating shifts, 40 hours per week, reasonable overtime a requirement, there may be a requirement to work at weekends especially during production shutdowns.

Mornings 6.00am to 2pm – paid 30 minutes break

Afternoons 12.00pm to 8pm – paid 30 minutes break

Proactive approach to maintenance to suit candidate with ambitions to develop role

 

Essential

Apprentice trained maintenance engineer with electrical bias

Experience in heavy industrial environment

NVQ Level 3 in electrical engineering or equivalent

18th Edition wiring regulations (would take 17th edition)

Have experience in fault finding, wiring and instrumentation work, preventative maintenance (PPM) reactive maintenance

Fault finding on PLC

 

Ideal

PAT testing (electrical Inspection and testing)

Element of multi skilled working an advantage (hydraulic and pneumatic experience)

 

Summary of Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks
  • Installation of new plant
  • Planning electrical maintenance tasks for completion during the shutdown
  • Development and upgrading of existing equipment
  • Good knowledge of safety and permit to work systems
  • Reactive Maintenance
  • PAT testing
  • Inspection and testing of electrical equipment

Technical Manager

Our client is recruiting an enthusiastic, qualified and experienced Technical Manager to join their fast growing New Energies Division.

Purpose

The role is to assist the Commercial Development Manager in managing electrical connection plans and technical designs that are submitted to our client, ensuring compliance with 17th edition electrical regulations and electrical installation codes of practice. You will be working from electrical specifications, energy reports and plans to ensure electrical installations are carried out to the highest standards. You will be required to attend site surveys and system commissioning tests in East Anglia.

Requirements and Skills

• Must have experience with commercial PV experience
• 17th Edition Electrical Regulations qualification
• CAD and PV design experience.
• Analyse electrical designs from specifications and survey reports.
• NVQ or City & Guilds in electrical installation
• Central Inverter and HV experience would be beneficial
• ECS card or CSCS
• Smart appearance and good communication skills essential
• Driving Licence
• A positive attitude
• Good communication skills.
• Be able to attend site visits

Gas Engineer

Andy File Associates Limited are working on behalf of their client as a Recruitment Agency with regards this permanent vacancy.

This role will report into the Maintenance Manager.

The main duties and responsibilities are:

• To undertake heating/combustion maintenance reactive repair works as issued within set time frames to ensure client expectations are met
• To proactively identify and undertake heating/combustion maintenance works
• To undertake heating/combustion PPM works, within set time frames to ensure statutory compliance
• To undertake heating/combustion improvement works as required
• Diagnose and repair faults on systems and plant including basic electrical fault finding
• To evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of all plant room equipment
• Maintain stock control systems as directed
• Maintain the cleanliness of plant rooms, workshops and storage areas
• Carry out on call duties as part of a rota
• To ensure that administration requirements are completed on time and all necessary documents / records are maintained accurately

Qualifications:
• Significant previous experience in a similar service environment
• Must be flexible in their approach to work

Essential:
• Recognised Mechanical / Electrical Trade Apprenticeship
• ACS Commercial and Domestic Gas
• (Domestic Gas qualifications CCN1, CEN1, CPA1)
• (Commercial Gas qualifications CIGA1, COCN1, CBHP1, ICPN1, TPCP1A)
• A full driving licence is essential for this role
• Experience of BMS systems

Desirable:
• HVAC Control Systems
• A basic electrical qualification e.g. 17th edition IEE
• Previous experience of PFI building maintenance
• Legionella Awareness
• Knowledge of the pressure system regulations
