Our client is now moving into an exciting phase of large scale development with multiple discipline engineering construction projects, they are looking to recruit a skilled project manager to work within their team.This will include liaising with customers, project partners, grant bodies, suppliers and sub-contractors managing projects to tight deadlines and budgets.
This role will involve you travelling within the UK and Europe and there may be the occasion where travel further field will be required.

Role Description
Grant Project Coordinator looking after the fuel station deployment projects. To date our client has a small number of stations in the UK and are currently building and commissioning a further 3 all due to open early 2018.
Within the next twelve months they are due to build a bus fuelling station in the Midlands and another station at a central London site. The role would cover the management of the roll out of these two stations.
This includes:
– Agreeing site layouts with design team, compliance team and landlord
– Applying for power connection
– Managing planning application process
– Liaising with landlord and equipment providers
– Managing tender process for civil works and electrical contractors
– Overseeing civil works on site
– Working with design and production team to ensure our client’s equipment is completed on time and on budget
– Preparing site documentation
– Ensuring technical documentation is completed on time
– Liaising with commissioning team
Responsibilities
– Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
– Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
– Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
– Ensure resource availability and allocation
– Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
– Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
– Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
– Report and escalate to management as needed
– Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
– Perform risk management to minimize project risks
– Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
– Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Requirements
– Degree qualified – preferably in science or engineering
– Experience as a project manager
– Good client-facing and internal communication skills
– Good written and verbal communication skills
– Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
– Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Competitive salary
Pension payable of 5% contributory after 3 months.
25 days holiday plus stats.
