Andy File Associates Limited are working on behalf of their client as a Recruitment Agency with regards this permanent vacancy.

Our client is one of the largest providers of conveyancing in the country and pride themselves on a fast, efficient service without compromising the quality of service or the personal contact that customers still expect when dealing with a quality firm of solicitors. Serving customers across the country they are now seeking a Conveyancing Technical Specialist to be based in Wakefield.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Consultant and Subject Matter Expert to the Residential Conveyancing Department providing technical advice and assistance on challenging conveyancing matters. Including Sale and Purchase transactions of freehold, leasehold, registered, unregistered, shared ownership, new leases, lease extensions, rent charges, and new build properties
  • Provide support to the department on complex title check‚Äôs, enquiries and reporting to clients to ensure a high-quality service is maintained to our clients and providers
  • Support team leaders in signing off files for exchange and completion and support in dealing with customer service resolutions where necessary
  • Assist the Post Completion Team with Land Registry requisitions and other issues; to be the subject matter expert in resolving any matters where required
  • Deal with complex legal enquiries and cases; using both your pragmatic resolution skills and your extensive technical knowledge
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement to the processes and development of the knowledge with the department

Candidate Requirements

Knowledge Skills & Experience:

  • Have several years PQE in the area
  • Extensive knowledge of the Conveyancing process
  • Experienced within a range and complexity of residential property matters
  • Ability to prioritise and adapt to meet client and business needs
  • Ensure the service legal agreements are maintained and achieved for the complex work
  • Ability to build strong and effective relationships both internally and externally
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to find a solution
  • Strong Risk management skills
  • Experience of Equity Release and Islamic Mortgages would be an advantage
