Multi Skilled Operative

Andy File Associates Limited are working as a Recruitment Business on behalf of our client with regards this temporary position.

Our very busy client based in Aylesbury  is looking for experienced Multi Skilled staff to join their team working on an ongoing temporary basis.  For the right person, this role could go temp-perm.

Reporting to the : Production Manager

Key Responsibilities for the Manual Operative role:

  • Manufacturing parts of septic tanks, plant products , separators and any new products introduced
  • Laminating  fibre glass reinforced components
  • Spraying fibre glass units
  • Mould preparation and repair and assembly to fibre glass components
  • Product assembly
  • Reading drawings
  • Maintenance of equipment and work area

Person Specification for the Multi Skilled Operative Role :

  • A practical knowledge of assembly techniques
  • Spraying fibre glass an advantage
  • Experience working with fibre glass an advantage
  • Experience in working with automated press machines is advantageous
  • The ability to measure accurately and document production activities
  • A mature attitude to work, encompassing health and safety and quality and care

Shift available : 1.30pm – 11.30pm

Days : Monday – Thursday

Transport: Own means of transport needed to get to location as public transport links not available

Pay rate : £11.55 p/h – pay can increase with experience

Training given on : Overhead crane, COSH, working at height and manual handling

Multi Trade Operative

Andy File Associates Limited are currently recruiting for experienced Multi -Trade Operatives on behalf of our Facilities Management Client to undertake the refurbishment of Social Housing void properties in the Nottingham area.

Job Summary

These works will involve carpentry, tiling, plastering plumbing, and painting and decorating works to a high standard. The successful applicants will need to be self motivated with a can do attitude with a proven multi-trade background.

Needing a team of two.

Works Type- Void property refurbishments, this will include but not limited to the following:

  • Stripping out old tenants items/belonging and disposing of them
  • Making good to old disturbed building fabric
  • Painting out properties
  • Cleaning properties
  • Boxing in – new kitchens, new bathrooms the aforementioned are limited and not extensive
  • Testing electrics – periodic tests
  • Remediation works to failed electric tests including cat 2 and 3 works
  • Lock changes
  • Break- ins / evictions

Experienced teams are encouraged to apply as well as individuals, in order to be considered for the position you must have a strong background in multi-trading.

Hours

  • Mon – Fri 8.00 am – 16.30 pm /40 hours

Pay Rates

  • For PAYE = £10.00 – £13.80 ph dependent on experience
  • For umbrella = £12.15 – £17.00 ph dependent on experience
