An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client who are looking for a Teaching and Learning Manager.

The successful candidate will manage/lead/support a small team of teachers responsible for delivering outstanding teaching and learning in a work based learning environment and the successful candidate must have experience delivering/managing apprenticeships/funded learning.

Our client is a successful apprenticeship provider rated Good during a recent Ofsted inspection. Their key objective is to ‘take the next step” and they are proud of their excellent reputation.

Our client is looking for an individual to enhance their team as they continue to grow and move forward.

This is a key role within the teaching and learning provision and the successful candidate will ideally be a qualified engineering teacher/trainer professional, committed to their own professional development. The candidate will be responsible for compliance (around government funding), progress reviews and have the ability to remove the barriers to learning/teaching.

The Teaching and Learning Manager must have the ability to relate to all learners, be flexible and work to meet the best interests of our client and both their learners and their employers, plus be committed to safeguarding.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS Disclosure

Salary: up to £35k (DOE)

Hours of work: Monday – Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm (some flexibility required)

Holidays:  25 days + 8 Bank Holidays
