Job Specification
Assembly Workshop Fitter/Technician
To perform a variety of mechanical assembly tasks on varying components to include:
* Gearbox assemblies and hydraulic components as well as investigative and repair work
relating to returned items
* To perform any other tasks as required in the build of motors and associated equipment as required
* Motor winding
* Magnetising
* Motor testing
Key Skills
* Keen and dynamic with a sense of purpose and pride in a job well done
* Fair amount of manual dexterity and patience required
* Methodical approach and competence using computers, working knowledge of excel advantageous
* Preferably apprentice trained in an engineering discipline some machining knowledge would be an advantage
* Safety aware
* Organised and methodical
* Flexible in their approach to working methods
* A willingness to be flexible on working hours when necessary
