Andy File Associates Limited are working as a Recruitment Agency on behalf of our client with regards this 12 month contract position.

Andy File Associates Limited are currently recruiting for an Allocator, and exciting opportunity to work in this fast paced innovative environment within our clients Head Offices in Sheffield. Initially a 12 month contract.

Role Purpose:

  • To raise replenishment orders to the stores and Distribution Centre
  • Ensuring fulfillment to stores in set timescales
  • Provide administrative support to the Merchandising team

Account abilities:

• Ensure orders are raised in a timely manner
• Highlighting stock issues and supplier performance to your line manager
• Monitor ticket tracker daily for requests and queries from stores

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Place orders, sense check quantities and order values, highlighting any irregularities to your line manager
• Ensure the accuracy of the EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) stock feed from suppliers to ensure accurate orders are placed
• To support the Merchandiser in the day to day planning and trading of the division
• Develop ways of working with the other Allocators and Buyers assistants to creates a sustainable and resilient high performing operating team
• Raise orders in-line with the Overseas and UK supplier lead times
• Assist in JE processes (forecasting system) ie forecasts, supersessions, minimums etc as advised by your line manager
• Proactively investigate the weekly supplier delivery performance and highlight any issues to your line manager
• Prioritise all key lines to achieve availability target of 95% or over
• To ensure all promotional/mailer lines are delivered in time for mailer launches
• New store allocations are raised and delivered in a timely manner and any issues are communicated to your line manager
• System housekeeping which include: Purchase orders are closed, Colour season changes, Price change management, product set up, Purchase orders date management
• Carry out other ad hoc duties in line with manager requests
