Main Purpose of the Sales Executive Role

We are looking for a talented, target-driven individual to join our commercial department as a Sales Executive. Reporting to the Supply Sales Manager, you will be responsible for achieving and exceeding personal and company targets. You will negotiate with buyers and managers on price, delivery and specifications, challenge objections to persuade customers to buy, and review your own sales performance. This is a dynamic office based role and in an environment consistently delivering above target sales figures in line with ambitious business growth plans. There are opportunities to make customer visits or attend trade shows, these maybe domestic or international shows or visits.

Experience of selling to Blue Chip companies and dealing with people at all levels is an advantage as is experience of the exhibitions industry, but all applicants with experience selling to business will be considered.

You will be required to achieve or exceed all agreed sales targets and performance measures and when you do, you will be rewarded with bonuses!

Key responsibilities:

* To contact by telephone new business clients and identify sales opportunities for exhibition needs. Bringing existing contacts to the business and set up meetings with these
* Generate sales leads and work towards personal targets of winning new business
* Set up meetings/attend meetings to take briefs
* Briefing and liaising with designers
* Collating all costs for projects with the Operations department and our Contractor/Metalworker
* Creating a quote for all enquiries and orders
* Presenting concepts and quotes to clients
* Passing projects over to Operations for site orders and liaising with Contractor for build
* Management of site ordering and contractors
* Attending final days of build ups and handing project over to clients

You must work well under pressure and have past experience of working to tight deadlines. Industry experience is desired but not essential.
