The role
• Leading event project teams to execute outstanding and profitable events, surpassing client event objectives and delivering on time and on budget
• Strategic and commercial acumen with ability to manage complex programmes with large budgets and an ability to use business intelligence to drive innovation
• Building strong relationships and managing client expectations
• Mentoring, development, monitoring of deliverables and performance of your team
• Oversee each event to ensure delivery is both efficient and effective providing corrective solutions where necessary
• Facilitate internal project meetings with all key stakeholders of the meeting throughout the lifecycle of the event
• Ensure all aspects of event planning and execution adhere to the appropriate client policies and compliance regulations
• Take responsibility for ensuring that each event is delivered to the brief, budget and that deadlines are met
• Be the central point of contact for all third party suppliers including medical education/communication, exhibition stand design and build, graphic design and production, event management (logistics) and travel agency
• Attend event site inspections with third party suppliers (where necessary)
• Travel on-site to oversee all event requirements for larger and high-profile events, providing support
• Attend industry meetings to strengthen relationships
• Managing both logistics, content, creative and production
• Work under pressure and prioritise workloads whilst maintaining attention to detail and meeting agreed deadlines

Content Producer (Events)

The role

– Lead the account team in the preparation of RFPs and proposals

– Liaise with client and internal teams to develop a detailed brief to develop Creative Service response to competitive and non-competitive briefs

– Define the strategic direction of a project

– Leading the Creative Services input across departments including Production, Communications and Creative

– Client pitch/presentations and follow-up for new and existing accounts

– Develop and grow client relations with senior stakeholders with the aim of delivering a wider range of services to our customers

– Creation of event agenda and session design

– Working with senior/ board level stakeholders to develop accurate briefs and communicate appropriately the requirements to respective teams

– Manage content creation with internal and external resources

– Manage client’s timelines with clear and regular communication, working alongside project deliverables

– Manage all pre-event client communication

– Develop studio work flow 2D and 3D with Creative Service Manager for each project

– To understand and advise the technical needs by project

– Ensure delivery of all events in accordance with regulatory and client-defined compliance guidelines

– Site inspections and undertake planning meetings with all suppliers

– Main client contact for live event programme with overall responsibility for producing on-site event

– Maximise profitability of projects operated – including supplier negotiation and up-selling of additional services to clients

Project Management – full responsibility for managing the delivery of a portfolio of client projects including large scale and high budget.

Content Development – inspiring creativity and emotional engagement. Organising and facilitating creative meetings, enabling and overseeing creative content solutions for videos & events and supporting material for projects.

Financial Management – full control of all live project budgets and preparation of quotes, working to agreed margin targets with the Client Services Director.

The role

Skills and Experience
• Previous experience in an estimating / quantity surveying role.

CAD Production Manager (Exhibitions/Events)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to head up a Production CAD/CNC Joinery team.

The role
• Proactively manage the workload to ensure uninterrupted work flow of the production facility
• Preparation of working drawings, graphics layouts and stock item pick lists for the manufacturing process from supplied visuals, concepts, briefs, sketches and existing Vector Works files into large scale print outs using AutoCAD
• Prepare CAD models to ensure the highest sustainable yield when utilising the CNC machine and optimisation of production
• A highly proficient knowledge of AutoCAD
• Provide clear and accurate advice on methods of construction and have a working knowledge of exhibition joinery
• Manage the control and distribution of drawings internally and externally where applicable
• Work closely with Production, Graphics, Design and Project Management to ensure margin protection and offer technical support where necessary
• Organise past projects into an easy to use library for year on year recall
• Promote fresh and innovative thinking towards client solutions
• Regularly liaise with the Senior Production Team Leader and the workshop team
• Quality control on shopfloor – liaison with shopfloor workers, making sure they have all information required to standards set by our Manager, control drawings etc, making sure the workshop staff understands each detail and crosschecking that production is correct and in accordance with information provided
• Management and development of the CNC / CAD team to ensure output matches the growth of the department
