A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Support Executive to join our global event management company! You will be responsible for assisting the Sales Teams (Directors, Business Directors) with the development and production of proposals/presentations/tenders for both existing clients and prospective new business.

The role
– Research to prepare proposals, co-ordinating costings, inputting responses on e-procurement software, formatting documents, proof reading and liaising with key internal stakeholders, suppliers and occasionally clients.
– Be actively involved in ensuring a consistently high standard of proposal is maintained throughout the business presenting the company in a professional manner.
– Attend supplier meetings, trade shows and internal training where relevant to ensure product knowledge is maintained
– Have good working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word and Gold-Vision Database
– Hold and attend briefing meetings, where appropriate participate in creative meetings to brainstorm solutions and concepts.
– Hold brainstorming sessions involving a variety of team members.
– Brief and involve Creative and Production on aspects key to our full service offer.
– Keep abreast of new technology, suppliers and other services to add creativity and value to our proposals and increase divisional margins and actively pursuing cross selling opportunities
– Supporting the Sales Support team function in driving the business forward
– Attendance at team meetings.
– To support colleagues and share information.
– Ad hoc projects as required.

The role

New Business – working with Senior Account Manager and Client Services Director to put together high profile/budget pitches ensuring they meet the client requirements and are in line with brand.

Client Liaison – build and develop relationships with new and existing clients.

Project Management – full responsibility on delivery of small and medium sized projects

Content Development – inspiring creativity and emotional engagement. Organising and facilitating creative meetings, enabling and overseeing creative content solutions for videos & events and supporting material for projects.

Financial Management – assist with the preparation of quotes, working to agreed margin targets.

Skills and Experience

– Outstanding interpersonal skills – excellent presenter and confident at communicating at a senior level.

Exhibition Project Manager (Exhibitions/Events)

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Exhibition Project Manager to join an integrated creative communications agency.

The role
– To ensure that the clients’ requirements are met, the project is completed on time and within budget and that all suppliers and/or contractors are completing tasks with the given timeline.
– Management and co-ordination of all assigned project elements.
– To make and maintain regular contact with all clients and suppliers acting as a single point of contact.
– Assist in the development of proposals for solutions and presenting quotations/pitches to client.
– Negotiate cost with all suppliers and costing of proposed solutions.
– Co-ordination of internal resources and management of external contractors.
– Producing timelines and clearly communicating them with the relevant project members and client.
– Complete management of project costs using budgeting system.
– Completion of all Health and Safety, Risk Assessment and Method Statements and e
– Ensure they are accompanied with all working drawings to be sent to the show organisers.
– Responsible for organising project meetings and distributing project meeting notes to all relevant parties.
– Responsible for all site installations where necessary with administrative assistance and support provided by other team members where projects overlap.
– Ensuring all projects are delivered to a high level of quality in both service delivery and finish.
– Contact strategically targeted, potential clients via phone, email and face-to-face communications.
– Contribute to the development of subsequent proposed responses.
– Attend and contribute to client presentations when required.

Skills and Experience
– Previous experience in a similar role
– Must have a high level of organisational skills.
– Confident, polite and friendly telephone manner.
– Must be able to competently co-ordinate both people and time.
– Proficiency in logistics and organisation.
– Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
– Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
– Willing to work outside normal office hours when required.
– Must be fully computer literate.
– Prince2 Qualification preferred but not a necessity.
